We will celebrate the achievements of our program participants, partners, and supporters while raising funds to continue our mission of restoring the lives of military members and first responders. This year we are laser focused on our biggest goal to date: securing a facility of our own.

Our vision is clear: a $6 million goal to fund the first permanent, state-of-the-art facility for the Shields & Stripes Program. This facility will not only transform the lives of military members and first responders but also create a positive ripple effect in the local community. By addressing their challenges, we help them build stronger relationships, perform better in their roles, and contribute to society, creating lasting benefits for everyone.

This year, we are thrilled to welcome Joe Moglia as our keynote speaker for the evening. Joe is the former Head Football Coach and current Executive Advisor to the President at Coastal Carolina University and the former CEO and Chairman of TD Ameritrade. Joe became the Head Football Coach at Coastal Carolina in 2012, where he led the team to five consecutive National Playoff appearances, including four Conference Championships. Over his 25-year career in football, he has coached eight championship teams. In addition to his coaching success, Joe was instrumental in the growth of TD Ameritrade, where he led the company to a 500% return for shareholders. Under his leadership, TD Ameritrade’s value soared to $100 billion. Joe has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and induction into 12 Halls of Fame. His inspiring journey from football to business and back to coaching highlights his perseverance, leadership, and commitment to success.

Joining Joe, includes local firefighter, Benjamin Dye, and Shields & Stripes alumnus, Veteran and firefighter, Rob Boisielle.

Benjamin Dye, a veteran and firefighter from Surfside Beach, SC, is an advocate for mental health and the importance of support for those who serve in challenging roles. His distinguished career includes numerous Unit Citations, Life Saving Awards, and the Firefighter of the Year honor. Benjamin’s advocacy for mental health services is deeply personal, having experienced the challenges himself and seen firsthand the benefits of support.

Rob Boisielle, a Marine Corps veteran and decorated firefighter, has also been a strong advocate for PTSD awareness. As a Shields & Stripes Program recipient, Rob has overcome his own challenges and now works tirelessly to raise awareness for mental health and PTSD support. His service has earned him multiple life-saving awards, and his dedication to supporting his fellow veterans and first responders continues to inspire many.
