We’re still beaming with gratitude after an impactful evening in Myrtle Beach, SC, where our charity gala, presented by Amplify Federal, brought together community members, alumni, and supporters to celebrate the mission of Shields & Stripes.

The event honored those we’ve lost, spotlighted our impact, and raised vital funds to support veterans and first responders nationwide.

The night began with a beautiful national anthem performance by Lily Rowan and a presentation by the local Color Guard. We were honored to welcome Former Acting Under Secretary of the Navy Victor Minella, and Myrtle Beach Mayor and Shields & Stripes Legacy Sponsor Brenda Bethune. 

Two of our program alumni, Robert Boisselle and Benjamin Dye, courageously shared their journeys of healing, and Amplify’s Andrew Plofchan delivered a powerful message and call to action. Keynote speaker Joe Moglia closed the evening with inspiring words on resilience and a poignant reflection on 9/11.

Thanks to our generous attendees, volunteers, and partners, we raised $100,000 to fuel our mission and fund future Shields & Stripes programs!
