Ariya “Ari” McGrory, LCSW, is a dedicated clinician passionate about trauma recovery, post-traumatic growth, and resiliency. With over a decade of experience, she currently serves at Shields & Stripes. She maintains a private practice, working extensively with active-duty military members, veterans, and first responders. Ari’s commitment to the military community is deeply personal, as she has been married to an Air Force veteran who served for 22 years and supported him throughout his entire service. She comes from a family dedicated to service, with many family members serving in the military and as first responders. Her extensive experience and personal connection to the military and first responder community make her a trusted and reliable professional in the field of trauma recovery.
Ari’s commitment to her clients’ well-being is unwavering. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work in 2010 and completed her Master of Social Work with advanced standing in 2011. She is now pursuing her Doctor of Psychology, continuing to expand her expertise in trauma-informed care. Her work is not just a profession but a commitment to helping individuals recover from emotional and psychological stressors, empowering them to move beyond difficulties and achieve lasting growth and well-being.
