Captain Riley Tejcek


Riley E. Tejcek is an Ambasador for Shields & Stripes.

A Captain in the United States Marine Corps, Riley Tejcek serves as a Logistics Officer at EWS in Quantico, VA and has completed one combat deployment. She is an accomplished athlete as a member of the 2022-2023 Team USA National Bobsled Team and has competed in the past two World Championships. 

She graduated cum laude from George Washington University in 2019 with a degree in Political Science, where she was a Division I college softball player on a four-year athletic scholarship and a four-year scholar-athlete. She was part of the 2019 A-10 Championship Team and served as President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. 

Riley is currently an Olympic hopeful for 2026, balancing her active-duty role with her rigorous bobsled training. She successfully manages her athletic career alongside her responsibilities as a Marine Corps officer. In addition, she is also a published author of a children’s book regarding women empowerment. 

Riley is passionate about demonstrating that women belong in both sports and the military. Her role as a Shields & Stripes Ambassador will be instrumental in raising awareness and support, ultimately helping to restore the lives of veterans and first responders struggling with PTSD and other non-visible scars.
