Katie Balash

Katie Balash is the Event Coordinator for Shields & Stripes.

As a military wife and relative to many firefighters, Katie was instantly drawn to the mission of Shields & Stripes. With a passion for helping others and planning events, she is honored to support Shields & Stripes as the Event Coordinator.

Katie went to college at Florida Gulf Coast in Fort Myers, FL. She graduated with her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communication with a focus on Public Relations. Katie has worked for multiple sports organizations, including her most recent role as the Premium Services Manager for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. She managed planning the VIP Experience for PPV events. Currently, she is a stay-at-home mom, focusing on helping the community around her by using her previous experience to plan the annual golf classic and the annual ‘A Heroes Journey Appreciation Dinner’ gala.
