Rylee McMillin

Rylee McMillin is the Human Resource Director for Shields & Stripes.

Rylee McMillin is an active duty Soldier in the U.S. Army. She has served nearly 9 years, as a Watercraft Operator and Human Resources Specialist. Rylee has served all over the world and most recently served as a Basic Human Resources instructor where she taught initial entry soldiers how to perform human resources actions for their fellow soldiers. She is spending her last six months in the U.S. Army as the Human Resource Director for Shields & Stripes.

Rylee was born in San Diego, California and moved to Vail, Colorado where she spent her formative years before moving back to San Diego to finish High School. She attend California Polytechnic University– Pomona for two years prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army in 2014. Rylee is finishing her remaining few classes towards her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Park University in Parkville, Missouri. Outside of work, she loves to do all outdoors activities to include hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and rock climbing. She is very passionate about the mental health of our veterans and first responders and when she found Shields & Stripes she knew she had to opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the most deserving. As Rylee transitions out of the military she is grateful to have found Shields & Stripes so she can continue to give back to the community.
